Best Creative Writing Discord Servers

Creative writing Discord servers give a draft an audience. The usual formats are prompt channels posting a new line every day, timed sprints where a room writes together for twenty minutes, critique exchanges with a give-one-get-one rule, and work-in-progress channels for chapters as you finish them.

Genre matters when picking: fantasy, science fiction, horror, poetry and fanfiction communities each read differently, and a general server may have nobody who knows your form. Note too that a writing server is not a roleplay server. If you want collaborative in-character storytelling rather than feedback on your own prose, look under roleplay tags instead.
