Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to use Discord in your country, to use TheDiscordList. You sign in with your Discord account, and you are responsible for everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may only list servers and bots you own or have explicit permission to manage. Manager access is derived from your Discord permissions and is kept in sync — if you lose administrator rights over a server, you lose the ability to manage its listing. For bot listings, we verify ownership by asking you to place a short code in the bot's public application description.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms, impersonate others, or abuse the service.

You retain ownership of the descriptions, images, tags, and invite links you submit. By posting them, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, cache, and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the service.

You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate and your invite links valid. Listings with broken invites, misleading descriptions, or content that does not match the linked server may be edited, delisted, or removed.

Imported listings. Some entries in the directory were created by us from public information — server name, icon, description, tags, and public invite gathered from other public directories and Discord's own public endpoints — rather than submitted by an owner. If you administer that server, the listing is transferred to you automatically the first time you sign in with Discord, after which you can edit or delete it. If you would prefer it removed and don't want an account, email [email protected] and we'll take it down.

Bumping pushes your server up the list and earns ranking points, subject to a cooldown. Bump points and rankings are provided for visibility only — they carry no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed.

Referrals. You can earn referral tokens by bringing new listings to the directory, and redeem them for temporary premium access. Like bump points, tokens have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or cashed out. Referrals are reviewed before they count, and self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or fake sign-ups will be rejected and may cost you your balance.

Any attempt to game the rankings — including bots, scripts, fake members, automated bumping, or coordinated manipulation — is prohibited and may result in point resets, delisting, or a ban. We may adjust point values, cooldowns, and ranking logic at any time to keep the list fair.

We may remove any listing and report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities. NSFW listings must be correctly flagged and are hidden from users who have not opted in.

Reporting & enforcement. Anyone signed in can report a listing. Submitted listings are screened automatically and, where something looks wrong, held for a person to review — automated screening alone never results in a ban. If we suspend a listing we'll tell you why, and you can fix the problem and resubmit it. Filing reports in bad faith, or in volume to harass another listing, is itself a violation.

Premium tiers (Gold, Platinum, Diamond) are optional paid subscriptions that multiply your bump points and add cosmetic and placement benefits. Prices, multipliers, and included features are described on the Premium page and may change with notice for future billing periods.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks are governed by our Refund Policy.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, ranking results, member growth, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of, or content within, any server you discover through the list.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheDiscordList is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or €100. Nothing here excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law, and if you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

We may update these Terms — to reflect new features, or to keep up with legal and security requirements. Material changes will be announced in our community server and reflected by the "last updated" date above, at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree with a change, you can close your account or cancel your subscription before that date, and the current Terms will apply until then. Continued use after that means you accept the revised Terms.
