Best Super Mario World Discord Servers

Super Mario World is unusual: most of its Discord activity is about making levels, not playing the original cartridge. Servers here center on romhacking with Lunar Magic, kaizo hack releases and playtesting, custom sprites and ASM patches, and communities that run their own hack collabs with deadlines and reviewers.

The rest is speedrunning, where the 11 exit and 96 exit categories draw the most people, plus casual chat and SNES nostalgia. If you have never opened a level editor, look for a listing that mentions beginner help or tutorial channels, because the long-running hacking servers move fast and assume you know the tools already.
