Supportive servers are built around members looking out for each other rather than raw message volume. The signs are consistent: a vent or check-in channel, rules that are actually enforced, moderators who reply instead of just deleting, and a size small enough that people notice when a regular goes quiet.

They vary in focus. Some are friendly general hangouts where the culture happens to be kind, others are built for a reason: mental health, recovery, grief, chronic illness or LGBTQ+ support, often with an age gate or short application to keep the space safe.
