Stream Alerts Discord Bots

Speed is the differentiator. Bots subscribed to Twitch's event API post within seconds, while bots that poll on a timer are consistently a few minutes late, which matters when the alert is meant to pull people in at the start of a stream. YouTube and Kick support is usually weaker than Twitch on the same bot, so verify the platform you need.

The free tier almost always caps how many creators you can track and whether the alert message can be customized. Test that a dropped connection mid-stream does not fire a duplicate ping, and use a role ping people opt into rather than everyone. Assigning a live role requires Manage Roles, so skip that permission if you do not want it.
