About Birthdays Discord bots
A birthday bot stores a date per member, then does three things on the day: posts an announcement in a channel you pick, adds a temporary role, and optionally sends a reminder ahead of time. Setup is usually a channel, a role and a timezone, and getting the timezone wrong is why announcements fire hours early.
Before you invite one, check whether members set their own birthday or a moderator has to enter it, whether the role is removed automatically after 24 hours, and how many custom messages the free tier allows. Manage Roles is needed for the day role; anything beyond that is more than the job requires.
