Best Moderation Discord Bots

Moderation bots give you warns, timeouts, mutes, kicks and bans with a case number and a history you can look up per member. The good ones get the boring parts right: editable reasons, DM notices to the punished member, temporary bans that actually expire, and a modlog channel recording every action.

After inviting, drag the bot's role above the roles it needs to act on. Discord will not let it moderate anyone ranked higher, and that is the most common reason commands silently fail. Grant only what it uses: Moderate Members, Kick, Ban and Manage Messages. Administrator is not required and hands over far more than moderation needs.
