About Esports Discord servers
Esports servers sit between playing and watching. Scrim and tryout servers match teams for practice, keep rosters and post open slots. Tournament and league servers handle brackets, check-ins and disputes, usually with staff roles and a written ruleset. Watch communities do the other half: match threads, pick'ems and arguments about a roster move.
Check the game and the region first, because a scrim board is useless in the wrong timezone. Competitive servers ask more of you than casual ones — expect rank requirements, set availability and sometimes an application. For anything with prize money, read how payouts are handled and who runs the event before you sign up.
