Best Aviation Discord Servers

Aviation servers divide into real-world and simulated, and the two rarely mix well. Real-world communities have student pilots working through checkrides, cabin and ramp crew, controllers and spotters posting photos with tail numbers and registration lookups. Sim communities cluster around Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane and DCS, with virtual airlines running scheduled routes and VATSIM or IVAO groups flying with live controllers.

Pick the side you want before joining. Ask a checkride question in a sim server and you will get sim answers, which is not what you want from an instructor's chair.
