Chill servers are the opposite of a leveling grind. There is no XP race, no mandatory activity, no pressure to introduce yourself before you are ready. Members drift in and out of voice while doing homework or working, drop music, post their pets, and talk about nothing in particular.
They tend to be smaller than the big public communities, moderated quietly, and often run movie nights, listening parties or late-night calls. If you are choosing between a few, look for one where a message from an hour ago still gets a reply, and where voice channels have two or three people rather than forty.
