Best Final Fantasy XI Online Discord Servers

FFXI servers, usually written FFXI or FF11, split between retail and private servers. Retail communities recruit linkshells for endgame content, organize parties and share job and gear advice for the current version. Private server communities play era-locked versions with their own rules, populations and event schedules, so advice from one rarely transfers cleanly to the other.

There are also general servers for returning players, dealing with accounts, installers and the launcher problems that come with a game this old. Check which world or server a group plays on before joining anything organized.
