Best Freelance Discord Servers

Freelance Discord servers replace the office you do not have. The useful ones split in two: a work side with client leads, rate discussions, contract and invoicing questions and portfolio critique, and a social side where people complain about scope creep at 2am. Designers, developers, writers, editors and video people usually get their own channels.

Two things are worth checking before joining. First, whether job posts are moderated, because unmoderated leads channels fill up with unpaid exposure work. Second, whether the server is regional, since tax, contract and payment advice only helps when it matches your country.
