About JRPG Discord servers
JRPG Discord servers are where people talk about the genre rather than one title. Final Fantasy, Persona, Trails, Tales, Xenoblade, Dragon Quest, SMT and the long tail of PS1-era and indie JRPGs each get channels, alongside the recurring arguments about turn-based versus action combat and which localization to play.
Most run spoiler-tagged threads per game, since members are always at different points in a fifty-hour story. Expect backlog and monthly playthrough clubs, import and fan-translation talk, soundtrack channels, and recommendation threads that are genuinely useful when you have finished something and do not know what to start next.
