LGBTQ+ servers cover a wide range: general queer social spaces, trans and nonbinary communities, questioning-friendly rooms, and lgbt-friendly gaming or hobby servers where identity is simply not an issue. Most set up pronoun and identity roles at the door, and many keep separate channels for vent, advice and support alongside ordinary chat.
Moderation separates a good one from a draining one. Look for a verification step, written rules about chasers, outing and DMs, and a visible mod team, since open queer servers attract people who should not be there. Age rules matter too: many communities keep minors and adults in separate servers on purpose.
