Best Pixelart Discord Servers

Pixel art Discord servers are built around showing work and having it picked apart. Expect a showcase channel, a critique channel with rules about the kind of feedback you want, weekly or monthly prompts, palette and dithering discussion, and separate rooms for sprites, tilesets, portraits and animation.

Tool talk usually centers on Aseprite, though Photoshop, Krita, Piskel and GraphicsGale all come up. Some pixelart servers lean toward game development and pair artists with programmers who need tilesets or character sheets; others are purely art communities. If you are starting out, look for one with a beginner channel so your first sprites are not sitting next to finished commission work.
