About Survival Discord servers
Survival servers come in two kinds. Some are attached to a hosted world — a Rust, Ark, DayZ, Valheim or Project Zomboid server with its own rules, wipe schedule and mod list — and Discord is where the community, whitelist and admin reports live. Others are genre-wide hangouts for base screenshots, crafting questions and recommendations on what to play next.
If you want people to play with, join the ones tied to a specific world and check the wipe cycle before you build anything. If you want PvE rather than raiding, say so early; the difference between a chill co-op group and a full-loot PvP crew is the whole experience.
