About Moderation Discord bots
Every moderation bot can ban someone. What separates them is the paper record: whether warnings get case IDs you can look up months later, whether a mute uses Discord's native timeout or a custom muted role you have to grant in every channel, and whether punishments expire on their own or need a mod to undo them.
Two things to check before you invite one. The bot's own role has to sit above every role it is expected to act on, or bans and mutes fail quietly. And the job only needs Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members, Manage Messages and Manage Roles — if the invite link demands Administrator, build a narrower one yourself.
