About Automod Discord bots

Automod bots enforce rules without a moderator watching: banned words and patterns, invite and link blocking, caps and mention limits, and punishments that escalate from a warning to a timeout to a ban. Discord's native AutoMod already covers keyword and mention filters for free, so what a bot adds is depth, history and logging.

Before you turn it on, exempt your staff roles, decide whether the bot deletes silently or explains itself in the channel, and point every action at a log you will actually read. Check that automoderation applies to edits, nicknames and thread names, and that warnings build a case history you can look up.
