About Reaction Roles Discord bots
Reaction role bots let members pick their own roles from a message, these days usually a button or dropdown menu rather than an emoji reaction, which is faster and does not break when an emoji gets deleted. Typical uses are pronouns, ping opt-ins, game roles and color choices.
Setup depends on hierarchy: the bot's own role must sit above every role it hands out, or clicks do nothing at all. Grant Manage Roles and little else. Then check the limits, meaning how many options fit on one panel, whether a group can be made exclusive so only one choice sticks, and whether existing panels keep working after the bot restarts.
