Best Active Discord Servers

An active server is one where your message gets an answer. That means messages within the last few minutes rather than yesterday, voice channels with people in them most evenings, and enough members across time zones that late nights and early mornings are not empty rooms.

Activity is not the same as size. A 500-member server with fifty regulars often feels busier than one with tens of thousands of lurkers. Once you join, check the last message timestamps across several channels, look at voice, and see whether events like games nights or movie streams actually happened recently rather than only being announced.
