About Bots Discord servers
Servers tagged bots fall into three groups. Support servers belong to a specific bot — the place you go when a command breaks, permissions are wrong, or the premium side needs explaining by someone who wrote it. Development servers are for people building bots, with help channels for discord.js, discord.py and the API changes that break things every few months.
The third group is showcases: communities where developers post what they made and server owners go shopping for a moderation, music or leveling bot before adding it. If you run a server rather than code one, that last group is usually the fastest route.
