About Modding Discord servers

Modding servers serve two crowds with different needs. Mod authors talk tooling, scripting, asset pipelines and permissions; players want their modded game to stop crashing. The big game-specific servers separate them into a development channel and a support channel, and posting in the wrong one gets you ignored.

If you are there for help, arrive with your load order, mod list and a crash log — that is the first thing support channels ask for. Modpack servers for Minecraft, Skyrim, Fallout and the Sims are the busiest, and nearly all of them ban piracy links, so expect to own the base game.
